“The challenges of Marketing in a globalized world”


Argentina has suffered big changes in recent years which have modified the structures of the organizations as well as their behavior in the market.

Globalization, competition, and technology evolution, are some variable key points that have affected the context, turning it into a complex and uncertain system. This implied a change within organizations as regards their way of adapting to new characteristics in order to be able to survive and grow developing new strategies for competition and sustainable growth.

Experience both in Argentina and in the world teach that small, medium, and big businessmen are the ones who take risks to successfully conquer local and foreign markets by using their entrepreneurial skills.

This is the reason why the University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES) – through its pioneering Marketing degree – proposes to teach and train professionals, with a solid theoretical and practical knowledge, to foster the search for opportunities and the use of business strategies and techniques that provide with value and support for the success of companies within the international field.

The courses are aimed for generating tools which allow students to evaluate the market potential, perspectives of the unique capabilities each company has for the development of products and services with high value for their clients.

Students take part in presentations of classes, speeches, problem solving, and deep analyses of real business situations, which cover a wide and different range of industries and companies.

The Southern Common Market, like other Economic Blocks, represents a challenge for Marketing people in the supportable and sustainable journey to integration, which will allow them to reach relevant positions and important training for the strategic management of companies related to the world of business.

Objectives

When the course is finished, students will be able to:

  • Offer a range of technical possibilities and tools which allow to obtain alternative solutions to the commercial problems of small and medium enterprises.

  • Acquire a wide and comprehensive view of Marketing as a tool of work and application in Small and Medium Size Enterprises in the different markets.

  • Sort and integrate the different types of knowledge to apply them in the development and building of a Business Plan.

  • Know the environment of the Small and Medium Size Enterprises so as to be able to cope with the problems of this sector in a globalized world.

Aims

To introduce the student to the challenging and little exploited context of Marketing for small and medium enterprises, trying to promote and provide an incentive in the creation of an entrepreneurial spirit for the development of their own projects.

Lawyer Ricardo Fregenal: Head of Marketing and Business Simulation Games at UCES. Business Advisor.

Lawyer Adrián Arroyo: Head of Marketing for Small and Medium Size Enterprises at UCES. He trains small and medium entrepreneurs.
